The porous nonwoven wall lets air reach root tips; when a root touches air it stops elongating and branches into more fibrous roots inside the bag instead of circling the wall. At transplanting the plant already has a dense fibrous root ball, so it establishes faster with a higher survival rate — especially valuable for species that transplant poorly bare-root.

Two cases. Our standard PP nonwoven bag has breathable, water-permeable walls and can be planted whole with the seedling — roots grow through it, removal labour is eliminated, and the bag gradually embrittles in soil, though that is not the same as rapid biodegradation. If your market requires a full biodegradability certification, we can quote degradable substrates. Please state your market and certification in the enquiry.

No. The nonwoven wall is low in strength and highly porous, so roots penetrate it naturally and keep growing in the soil. If you use a heavier GSM and want to recover the bags, they can be slipped off at planting, cleaned and reused a few times.

Yes — we screen print or heat transfer your logo, size and origin markings, and can add usage diagrams. Handles can be added, typically twin side straps or a loop handle at the rim, for easy carrying and retail display. Outer packaging and cartons can be customised to your market.

Stock sizes start at 5,000 pieces and custom sizes or printing at 10,000, subject to project review. Lead time is 7-10 days for stock and 12-18 days for custom. Free samples are available to check GSM and stiffness, and small trial orders are welcome to test a market.
