The extra 20gsm buys tear strength, opacity and stiffness — not just weight.
At 100gsm the web is denser and stiffer, so it resists puncture and edge tear far better than 80gsm. That matters for heavy packaging, furniture spring cover, industrial interleaving and weed-control base fabric that has to survive UV and mechanical stress. The trade-off is cost per square metre and a firmer hand-feel, which is why bag makers usually stay at 80gsm.

MOQ is 0.5 tonne for stock specs; lead time is 7-10 days after deposit for stock and 10-15 days for custom colour.
