As environmental awareness grows, non-woven bags have become an important carrier for companies to demonstrate social responsibility and communicate brand image. From exhibition totes and shopping bags to gift bags, a well-designed non-woven bag is both practical packaging and a mobile "business card" for your brand.
How to Choose the Right Printing Process?
The printing process directly determines visual effect and cost. Water-based screen printing suits single-color or simple multi-color logos — durable and cost-effective, the mainstream choice for shopping and promo bags. Full-color CMYK printing suits complex patterns and gradients for photo-like results. Lamination adds gloss, water resistance and durability for premium gift bags.
Materials & Eco Value
Bags are typically made of 60-100gsm PP spunbond fabric: higher GSM means stiffer, stronger bags. Compared with single-use plastic bags, one non-woven bag can be reused 8-10+ times with significantly lower lifecycle carbon emissions. Choosing GRS-certified recycled PP further reduces your carbon footprint and satisfies sustainable procurement requirements in the EU and beyond.
Why Customize with Huayue?

Q1: What printing processes are available for non-woven bags?
Three mainstream options. Water-based screen printing suits single- or simple multi-color logos — durable and cost-effective, the standard for shopping bags. Full-color CMYK handles complex patterns and gradients with photo-like results. Lamination adds gloss and water resistance for premium gift bags.
Q2: Which GSM is used for the bag body?
Bags typically use 60-100gsm PP spunbond fabric: the higher the GSM, the stiffer and stronger the bag. Lightweight promo bags work at 60-70gsm; load-bearing shopping bags are better at 80-100gsm. We produce the fabric ourselves, so GSM can be tailored to the use.
Q3: What makes non-woven bags eco-friendly?
One non-woven bag replaces dozens of single-use plastic bags over 8-10+ reuses, with significantly lower lifecycle carbon emissions. Choosing GRS-certified recycled PP (RPP) cuts the footprint further and satisfies sustainable procurement rules in the EU and beyond.
Q4: Can we print our logo? Is the MOQ flexible?
Yes. As an origin factory we control everything from fabric to finished bag, with flexible MOQ and reliable delivery. Over 150 technicians handle sewing and ultrasonic welding, and our design team provides free layout advice so your logo prints sharp and durable.
GSM by Use: Where 60 gsm Stops Working
Non woven bags run 60 to 120 gsm, and the number is a load decision rather than a cost decision. Light 60 to 70 gsm suits single-event giveaways and garment covers; 80 to 100 gsm is the working range for a shopping bag expected to survive repeat trips with a full load; above 100 gsm you pay for stiffness that most retail uses never need. Handles fail before the body does, so specify the handle together with the grammage: self-fabric handles are the cheapest and the first to tear at the weld, webbing carries the most load, and cord reads more premium. Body and handle should be specified together, and the non woven bag range lists the combinations that ship most often.
Match the method to the artwork
Screen printing is the economical choice for one to three spot colours and holds up to washing; heat transfer or laminated film handles photographic and gradient artwork; lamination adds water resistance plus a gloss or matte finish.
Send vectors with Pantone codes
Vector artwork with Pantone references lets the mill mix to your colour instead of approximating from an image. Dope-dyed fabric holds colour in the fibre, so it does not scuff off along the fold lines where a bag flexes most.
Respect the print area
Keep artwork clear of seam, handle weld and gusset zones. A logo that crosses the ultrasonic weld line is the most common reason a sample comes back rejected.
What Moves Cost and Minimum Quantity
Five inputs set the price: grammage, bag size, handle type, print method and colour count, and lamination. Lamination and full-colour printing each add a process step, which is why they raise both unit price and minimum quantity, so send artwork and dimensions for an exact figure rather than assuming one fixed number. Sampling is the cheap way to de-risk a run of tens of thousands of pieces: approve a printed sample before the bulk goes on the line. Standard lead time is 10 to 15 days, behind 11 production lines with online GSM monitoring.
